Legislative Director for U.S. Rep. Johnny Olszewski Jr. (D-MD), appointed January 2025. Previously served as Executive Director of the Future Forum Caucus (Feb. 2023–2024), the first Latina to lead this 53-member organization of young House Democrats. Prior to that, served as Policy Director for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, where she advised on policy issues affecting Latino communities including immigration, appropriations, education, and agriculture, and helped advance 28 bills to law. Earlier in her Hill career, served as Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-40), where she led the Congresswoman's Homeland Appropriations Subcommittee assignment and the introduction and passage of H.R. 6 (American Dream and Promise Act). Before Congress, led federal advocacy for an immigrant rights organization. Mexican immigrant and first in her family to earn a bachelor's degree.
