Served as Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where she spearheaded all agency interactions with Congress. In the Biden-Harris Administration, she was Special Assistant to the President and Senate Legislative Affairs Liaison in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs, managing bipartisan relationships and helping secure passage of the CHIPS and Science Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act. Previously served as Legislative Director for U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) and Legislative Counsel to former U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA), handling homeland security and judiciary portfolios.
