With more than 15 years of government and political experience, he began his career as an aide to former House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. John Spratt (D-SC), served as legislative aide to Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC), and was Deputy Chief of Staff and District Director to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC). Previously served as Legislative Director to former Congressman Joe Cunningham (D-SC), Vice President of Policy & Advocacy at the National Housing Conference, and worked as a government affairs executive for Tyson Foods and Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies. Member of the Board of Directors for the Norfolk State University Foundation and the Corporate Advisory Council for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.
