SENIOR PROFESSIONAL STAFF MEMBER — Senate Committee on Foreign Relations

Senior Professional Staff Member at the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (as of August 2025). Previously served as Senior National Security Advisor in the office of the USAID Administrator with focus on Middle East and North Africa policy, counterterrorism, and technology in development. Prior to USAID, she was Defense and Foreign Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ, 2014–2021) and Foreign Policy Fellow to Senator Chris Coons (D-DE, 2013–2014). Earlier experience includes work with the International Organization for Migration in Nairobi, Kenya, and the Aga Khan Development Network in Karachi, Pakistan. Teach for America alumna who taught 6–8th grade in the South Bronx.
