Legislative Assistant for Tax and Trade in the Office of the Senate Democratic Leader. Lead tax advisor for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Veteran of the Senate Finance Committee Democratic staff, where he served as Chief Tax Advisor under Chairman Ron Wyden (D-OR) starting in October 2022, and previously as Senior Policy Advisor, Tax and Economic Policy Advisor, and Tax Policy Analyst since joining the Committee in 2013. Led development of clean energy tax provisions incorporated into the Inflation Reduction Act and played a key role in the CHIPS and Science Act investment tax credit for domestic semiconductor manufacturing. Advises on domestic and international business tax incentives, infrastructure policy, and climate and energy tax.
