Senior Legislative Assistant in the office of U.S. Rep. Mark Takano (D-CA-39), working on a portfolio including healthcare, oversight and government reform, agriculture and nutrition programs, financial services and housing, tribal affairs, and LGBTQ issues. Came to Congress through the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) Fellowship. Organized in the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community prior to joining Congress. Former National Youth Representative on the JACL National Board, where she designed programming on Asian American identity, feminism, and immigration detention. Involved with Tsuru for Solidarity, a movement to end immigration detention sites and support frontline immigrant and refugee communities.
