Dr. Streitz is a veterinarian with expertise in food safety, animal wellness, and wildlife management. Previously served as a policy liaison fellow with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases. Has held roles with the Mayo Clinic, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the National Pork Producers Council. Serves on the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association's Advocacy Committee.
