Policy expert in health policy and public health, with focus on substance use, maternal health, and mental health. Worked on COVID-19 relief packages including the American Rescue Plan Act, Medicaid continuous eligibility provisions, and public health workforce loan repayment reauthorization. Started on Capitol Hill in 2018 as a staff assistant to then-Congressman Tim Walz, progressed through roles as Policy Analyst, Staff Assistant, Senior Policy Analyst, and Health Policy Advisor with the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Health. Graduated from College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University; currently pursuing Master of Public Health (MPH) at University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
