Previously served as Deputy Executive Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Legislative Director for Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Policy & Communications Director for the South Carolina Democratic Party. Worked on a wide range of policy issues including the "10-20-30" anti-poverty initiative, voting rights, federal budget, healthcare, and national security. Started his political career as an intern for then-Senator Joe Biden.
