Chief of Staff for U.S. Rep. Scott H. Peters (D-CA-50), overseeing San Diego operations and outreach as well as press, communications, and political strategy for both congressional offices. She has been a key member of Peters' team since 2008, previously serving as his Chief of Staff when he was San Diego City Council President (from which she transitioned to Communications Director for his 2012 congressional campaign). Prior to her work with Peters, she was the first Latina Chief of Staff to a San Diego Mayor (Mayor Susan Golding in the 1990s), and she operated her own public affairs and communications consulting business in the early 2000s. She serves on the Board of Directors for MANA de San Diego and is Vice-Chair of the San Diego County Citizens Law Enforcement Review Board. Pintar has more than 20 years of experience in San Diego government and politics.
