CHIEF OF STAFF — Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship

Chief of Staff for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (since January 2023). Previously served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) from 2015–2023. Expert in small business policy with extensive experience in both government and the private sector. Served as Chief of Staff of the Small Business Administration (2003–2004) and Vice President for Political and Grassroots Operations at the National Federation of Independent Business (2005–2014), where she developed political programs on behalf of the small business community. Started her career as an intern in the Bush-Quayle 1992 re-election campaign communications department, then worked for U.S. Representative and later Senator Tim Hutchinson (R-Ark.) for approximately a decade in various roles including staff assistant, legislative assistant, and deputy chief of staff.
