STAFF DIRECTOR — Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs

Staff Director of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs (January 2025–present), leading the Democratic caucus's banking and financial services agenda. Previously served as Deputy Director of the National Economic Council (November 2023–January 2025), where he focused on addressing junk fees, price gouging, and building America's industrial base. Long-time senior advisor to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, serving as her Legislative Director (2013–2018), Senior Advisor and Policy Director during her 2020 presidential campaign, and Chief of Staff (2020–2023). Before joining Warren's office, he served as Chief Counsel to Sen. Richard Blumenthal and as a health law advisor to Rep. Henry Waxman on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and House Energy and Commerce Committee. Law clerk to Judge Harry T. Edwards, U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
