Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper (D-CO) since September 2024. Hayes brings over 15 years of Capitol Hill experience, having held positions in the offices of former Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) and Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), eventually serving as Chief of Staff to Sen. Manchin. In the private sector, he served as Senior Vice President for Government Affairs at Altice USA Inc. (2019) and was a partner at lobbying firm Kountoupes Denham Carr & Reid (2021-2024), where he lobbied on behalf of clients including Airbnb, T-Mobile, and Best Buy. He also founded Singiser Solutions LLC, a boutique consulting and government relations firm. His policy expertise includes healthcare, particularly reproductive health and rights, as well as legislative and executive branch processes.
