Previously served as Legislative Director for former U.S. Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (D-NM), where she managed all legislative policy for an office focused on defense and homeland security. Earlier career on Capitol Hill began in 2014 in the office of U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL), rising from intern to Legislative Assistant. Holds a commission in the United States Army Reserve as a Civil Affairs Officer and completed a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
