Prior to that, served as law clerk to Judge Cynthia Swenton at Norwich District Court specializing in family law. Recognized as Connecticut Congressional Staffer of the Year (2019) and among the 100 most influential Black people in Connecticut (2023). Inducted into Fitch athletic hall of fame for track and field.
