REPUBLICAN STAFF DIRECTOR — Senate Committee on Indian Affairs

Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs (since 119th Congress), previously serving as Minority Staff Director (2023-2024) and Deputy Staff Director (2021-2022). Earlier served as Legislative Assistant to Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) handling Alaska Native and Rural Affairs portfolio (2019-2021). Before joining the Senate, worked for over 15 years at the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) as Budget and Policy Analyst and in the Policy Research Center. Also served as Legislative Assistant in the office of late-Congressman Don Young (R-AK) covering Alaska Native policy, telecommunications, budget, tax, and judiciary issues. Tlingit (L'eeneidí/Raven Dog Salmon clan); worked on legislation addressing missing and murdered Indigenous people, rural public safety, tribal sovereignty, Native language revitalization, Indian housing, and pandemic response.
