Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Jim Justice (R-WV) since January 2025. Abraham was appointed chief of staff during Justice's second term as West Virginia governor and continued in the same role when Justice was elected to the Senate. A graduate of Fairmont State University (B.S. Business Administration, 1993) and West Virginia University College of Law (J.D., 1996), with an M.S. in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. Prior to serving as chief of staff, Abraham was general counsel to Governor Justice (2017–2021). Before that, he was prosecuting attorney for Logan County, West Virginia (1999–2009), and served as a prosecuting attorney and trial counsel for the 101st Airborne Division; he also served on active duty in Iraq with XVIII Airborne Corps as an operational law officer. Abraham holds the rank of Brigadier General in the West Virginia National Guard.
